Air Signs

The third element in our categories of element personality types would be the air sign. The three Zodiac (or horoscope) signs associated with the element “air” are as follows: Gemini, Libra and Aquarius. Zodiac dabblers and experts would know that all three signs listed above, while seemingly different are nevertheless connected by this one small thing – all of them place value on the use of one's mind. Out of all the personality types based on the elements, air signs are thought to be the most intelligent and incisive when it comes to mental exercises. Analysis, compartmentalizing, studying and experimenting are practically hobbies to people born under the air sign.

Air as an element is associated with intellectualism and communication. They catch on quickly, and they're not afraid to point out any flaws that they may observe. Above anything else, they appreciate witty banter, and they love the challenge of coming up with clever come-backs. Air people also like working out both sides of the same issue in order to devise a clever compromise that would benefit everyone – balance is very important to them, and being very idealistic, they are more likely than not to be humanitarian in their application of their intellect.

Air signs tend to be quite empathic, though, because of their habit of seeing both sides of a situation – they act like the people that they are with, or react according to the people that they're with. As such, one can never predict of they will be friendly or snobbish at any given moment. They are however, the philanthropists of the world.
